REFLECTION: at first i was like why is this so hard!! and then once i got the hang of this i was like man this poem is so good all i needed to do was to was just post it onto my blog. anyways i hope you like my peom!

the duffy show!!

As soon as I step foot into the assembly on Monday I was shook, there was blocks stacked on blocks and three amazing actors. As soon everyone was quiet they started, they were introducing themselves sam, Duffy and kate, Sam was introducing herself but she was playing the game not making it interesting so then Duffy said “well bye!” Then they went behind the screens. at the start Duffy was playing the famous game named magic bricks, he said that he was working on his new book tips and tricks, for magic bricks created by Duffy. He had his head set on and playing with his cousin Sam. he said that he was going to meet sam soon in like three hours, time to go! Requested Duffy's mum. “Well better go bye!” Along trying to bring his bag of books with him. “Bye sweetie hope you have an amazing week!” Said duffy's mum and dad. As soon as he stepped foot into the house he was like “SAM!!!!” But she did nothing, so Duffy asked if she wanted to play some games he said “what should we do?” “Should we ride the bikes? Play tag, umm anything?!” sam got mad. “noooo! Look what you made me do the dismantler destroyed my really good tower!” and then she started to throw a tantrum. Duffy said “that it was just a game!” but sam didn't take it she was said “you don't know” so then duffy got tired of this magic brick game, so he saw his nans glasses. He put them on and said hey sam remember the famous dance nan would do he did dances until he said “ hey what is that blue thing sam sam sam!!!!!” then he got sucked into the game, sam didnt really notice until she looked at first she thought that he went to the bathroom. Until she saw Duffy in the game she freaked out “ Duffy? What are you doing in there?” duffy said “ uhhh i dont know” “ select your skin.” said the computer voice. “Uhhh ok should i do this pirate skin?” said duffy “ NOOOOO” replied the children. “Umm this chicken one!” “noooooo” said the children. As soon as the next skin came he said “what about this one!” “YESSSSSSS” everyone demanded. So he put on his suit by the way it was abbs. Then he trotted off to seek his adventure in a real life video game. So he was buliding blocks until the dismantler came and recked his tower then all of his book knowlege went down, sam his cousin said “hey Duffy are you ok?” duffy replied “ yea im ok i just need to know where to get out” after he ate a hotdog for more energy. He needed more book knowlege so he asked 8 contestents, lucky for me i got chossen. I was shy, then the puzzler came and messed up our word, which is ok, so after sam and duffy were in a fight so then sam was mocing duffy with nanas glasses, until…… she got sucked into the game, but she had her nanas book duffy and same said “ read! Lets READ!” so they read and read until they found a code named the dumpling. Remember the dance at the start, that's what sort of dance they had to do. But we had to do it with them so we would all get out of the game. Then they said, thanks so much, and then we had someone do the thanking and the the whole school did the school song. The whole thing was amazing and i hope you enjoyed it too.

REFLECTION: I really liked the show, my favourite part was when i got to go up for a volunteer i hope you will enjoy it too.

Explaining netball

WALT: explain in a good way how to play a game  I choose netball have a read you might like it

Netball. Netball is a great sport but do you know how to play it?? Here read this There are two rules I always get mixed up with, that’s stand down and stepping, for some reason stand down is the worst for me because I’m so used to just jumping up in there face in basketball, and snatching the ball off them. That gets taken back to netball. Stand down in netball is when you're too close to the opponent with the ball once the referee says “Stand down” then you have to stand next to the person that had the netball until they pass the ball. But you can't do anything otherwise you would be called stand down again. The other one is stepping, stepping is pretty easy to do without even knowing that you did it. If you jump or walk with the ball you will be called to be “stepping” this means this is automatically the other team's ball. I think everybody knows how to pass but do you know what kinds of passing. Let me tell you a couple of them. The very first one I have known all my life the normal pass I think you know the normal pass too so let's skip that. Uh the next one is bounce passing, this is when you pass but you're passing the ground, so it bounces to your partner. But make the ball bounce a quarter away from their feet. If you are by the goal and you're wanting to pass that is a great time to pass so then you can get the goal. Time for the positions, there are three positions in the year 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. Those positions are attack,defence,and center. Let me tell you about attack first. Attack means that your only allowed in the center and your goal area/quarters, your job is to shoot the ball into your hoop so you get goals!! If you go to the opponent's side and your attack then its automatically there ball from offside. The next position is defence. Defence is like attack but your not allowed in your goal quarter, your allowed in the middle and the opponent’s side but not yours. You have to try to whack the ball or catch the ball when the other team passes to there partner. And last but not least center. Center is allowed to go everywhere except the semi circles by the hoops. Your job is to go in the middle if the other teams scores a goal. There's a circle in the center of the court you go there to pass the ball when the ref or umpire wheels the whistle. Then you pass. If you score you either defend the center or go on the side with the other centers. In each team there is always two attacks,defence and center in every game so you always get to move around with the positions. So everybody knows that there is half’s in basketball but not in netball!! There is 4 quarters in netball 10 minutes of netball then a quick 20 to 30 second break then back on. In total we play for 40 minutes. Not including the breaks.after that we get the player of the day and some treats for participating. Last Saturday I got the player of the day. And a long chocolate bar.

REFLECTION: this was hard very hard to explain and to make it interesting at the same time but in the end i got it right
